About the organisation
Pesticide Action Network (PAN) India, founded as an independent national non profit organisation in India in 2013. It works in collaboration with Pesticide Action Network (PAN) International Community, sharing knowledge and expertise to eliminate the human and environmental hazards caused by pesticides. The organization is focusing to bring changes in the way chemical pesticides are used harming life and environment. It aims to help farmers to reduce dependence on toxic chemicals and to increase the use of sustainable alternatives to chemical pest control based on scientific knowledge. It is slated to become one of the leading organizations in awareness, research, policy advocacy and lobbying for drastic changes to minimise harmful effects of hazardous pesticides.

Job Description
- Documentation – Narrative, photo & video
- Design and layout (Developing IEC materials – posters, social media cards, short videos, pamphlets, reports, booklets, etc.
- Developing media statement/Press releases/narrative reports
- Developing media dossiers
- Developing content for web site and social media.
- Managing web site and social media handles.
- Develop, plan and implement outreach/campaign activities.
Required skills
- Excellent writing skill in English
- Excellent documentation (photo & video) skills
- Excellent editing skill (visual media)
- Excellent computer skills and social media platforms
- Preferred educational attainment: PG in Journalism/Mass communication
Language Requirements
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
