Sessions on “Little things matter-the impact of pesticides on developing brain” in four Indian cities

"Brain harming chemicals are so tiny,

that it can hardly be seen by the naked eye.

Trace amounts of these chemicals have been found

in umbilical cords and blood samples of children"

PAN India along with PANAP, PANNA and local partners are excited to highlight a speaking tour based on the research behind the video, “Little Things Matter: The Impact of Toxins on the Developing Brain"

 

The campaign aim to address,

  • How children are exposed to pesticides and other environmental toxins?

  • How low levels of toxins can impact the developing brain of a child?

  • Why would little amounts of chemicals found in a child matter?

  • And how does it impact the intelligence of our young ones?

 

The campaign was organized in the light of a video titled
“Little Things Matter: The Impact of Toxins on the Developing Brain”
The video was narrated and co- produced by Dr. Lanphear.
The video talks about how exposure to low-levels of toxin harms
brain development and cognitive functions in children.
